Yes. Our serving bowls and tea sets are made from 100% natural, lead-free, and toxin-free riverbed clay. They are kiln-fired at high temperatures to ensure they are food-safe and durable for daily use.
What happens if my order arrives broken?
While we use a specialized 3-layer eco-friendly packaging system, terracotta is inherently fragile. If your piece arrives damaged, we offer a free replacement. You must provide an unboxing video and photos within 24 hours of delivery to our support team to claim a replacement.
How do I clean my terracotta decor?
For decorative items, a simple dry dusting with a soft brush or cloth is best. For kitchenware, use mild soap and warm water. Avoid the dishwasher and harsh chemical detergents, as the porous clay can absorb them.
Why does my product look slightly different from the website photo?
Every item at Saakar Designs is hand-sculpted and hand-etched. Because we do not use mass-production molds, slight variations in color, texture, and etchings are a hallmark of an authentic, artisan-made piece. No two pieces are ever identical.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
The Hands Behind the Heritage
“The clay tells me what it wants to be. I just move my fingers.” - Master Artisan
Our collection begins far from the city, in the sun-drenched courtyards of Indian pottery clusters. We partner directly with generational master potters of an ancient craft who turn riverbed clay into timeless art. By procuring directly from these artisan cooperatives, we ensure their mastery is rewarded fairly and their traditions are kept alive for the next generation.
